The members of the Centre are respected and renowned leaders in developing and providing unique and innovative palliative care programs. Our team includes physicians and counsellors.

We opened our doors in 1986. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest palliative care programs in Canada, offering the widest possible range of services. Whether in a patient's home or in the hospital, our palliative care professionals work in consultation with the patient's existing care team to provide the best possible end-of-life care.

We are also a teaching and research facility affiliated with the University of Toronto. Our mandate is to advance education and research, which are fundamental to increase the capacity, quality and knowledge in palliative care.
