Grand Rounds
Palliative Care Grand Rounds is a series of seminars and workshops that bring
renowned speakers from across North America and overseas to discuss pertinent
issues in palliative care. The Rounds are video-conferenced from Toronto to
sites around the province of Ontario such as Ottawa, Thunder Bay, and
Peterborough. Palliative Care Grand Rounds are intended for an interdisciplinary
audience.All seminars and workshops are accredited by the College of Family Physicians of
Ontario and by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. For more information, please email ce@tlcpc.org.
Conferences and Other Educational Initiatives
The Centre also plays an integral role in the planning and execution of some of
the major palliative care conferences and educational initiatives in the
province, as well as those held nationally and internationally. Conference
planning initiatives include the Humber College Palliative Care Conference, the
University of Toronto Pain & Symptom Management Conference, the American Academy
of Hospice and Palliative Medicine Conference, and Educating Physicians Around
End-of-Life Care.
