Services
Our Home Palliative Care Program: A palliative care doctor will visit
patients with a life-threatening illness in the comfort and convenience of their
home. Our palliative care doctor works with the patient's existing doctors,
specialists, and caregivers to provide comprehensive care that meets the
patient's needs. All doctor visits are covered by OHIP.
Our Inpatient Palliative Care Program: A palliative care doctor will
visit patients in Mount Sinai Hospital. Specially trained nurses, social
workers, and chaplains are also available.
Our Max and Beatrice Wolfe Centre for Children’s Grief and Palliative Care:
Our services educate and support children and their families who have a loved
one who is dying or has died. We also provide high medical care and counselling
to dying children and their families in their homes. We do not charge for any of
these services.
